Please sign up to help sell pop, water and peanuts during the Applefest Parade! We'll need 3 drivers and 6-9 people to walk along side small tractors with trailers containing pop, water and peanuts. We'll have 3 trailers, 3 Drivers, 2-3 walkers per trailor, working at 3 sections along the parade route. You will need sun protection, good walking shoes and smiling faces! Rotary vests will be provided if you don't have one. Cash Change and cash aprons will be provided. We will all return to Ace Hardware parking lot to put items away after the parade. Thank you! |

Rotarians across our region are gearing up for something big - the World’s Largest Polio Walk on October 24 and Valley View Rotary will be part of it! District 6250 will join Rotary districts across Region 36 – Rotary Zones 25B & 29. The effort will unite more than 36,620 Rotarians and 964 Rotaractors across 11 states and 2 countries in a powerful demonstration of Rotary’s commitment to a polio-free world. Rotary has been leading the global fight against polio for more than 35 years through its End Polio Now campaign. Thanks to Rotary and its global partners, polio cases have been reduced by more than 99.9%, but the fight continues until every child is protected.

Access the 2026 Volunteer Signup HERE. Meal pickup at La Crescent Community Building, 336 1st Street South (back door along alleyway). SEMCAC provides meals for senior citizens Monday through Friday of each week through their Senior Dining Program. Volunteers provide the delivery of the meals which are prepared and packaged at the La Crescent Community Building. SEMCAC has contacted our club with a request for help with Thursday deliveries. This would start on Thursday, February 2nd, 2023, and continue indefinitely every Thursday. Times for the deliveries are from 11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. Delivery volunteers pick up the meals and route information at the back door of the La Crescent Community Building located at 336 S. 1st Street. There are roughly 6 - 8 people who receive meals on each route. It generally takes no more than 25 - 40 minutes to complete a route. Please consider signing up for a few delivery times.
